Kingray KOA8PX-15 EDFA Optical Fibre Amplifier

The Kingray KOA8PX-15 EDFA Optical Fibre Amplifier is designed for fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) and CATV distribution systems. It features 8 optical output ports, each delivering +15.5dBm output power at 1550nm, making it suitable for distributing optical signals across multiple connections.

With built-in CWDM multiplexing, the amplifier allows CATV signals to be combined with GPON and XGS-PON data signals using compatible OLT wavelengths. It features low-noise amplification, automatic output power control and a front-panel LCD for checking operating parameters and alarms.

The Kingray KOA8PX-15 EDFA Optical Fibre Amplifier includes dual power supplies with 1+1 backup for improved reliability. Its 19-inch 1RU rack-mount design makes it suitable for professional telecommunications and fibre distribution installations.
