Kingray KOT001A Optical Laser Transmitter – 1550nm, 4mW/6dBm, 1RU

The Kingray KOT001A Optical Laser Transmitter is designed for professional TV and satellite signal distribution over fibre optic networks. It supports a frequency range of 47–2600MHz and is suitable for Digital TV (DVB-C, DVB-T) and Satellite TV (DVB-S) applications.

Designed for use in FTTx and GPON systems, the KOT001A allows digital TV and satellite signals to be transmitted over a single fibre. Its 1550nm optical output can be amplified using EDFA or YEDFA equipment to support larger FTTH installations.

The transmitter features a cooled DFB laser, dual power supplies with 1+1 backup and a compact 1RU rack-mountable design. It is also Foxtel Stacker approved, making it suitable for professional TV distribution systems.
