The KOA32P is a high-density, carrier-grade EDFA optical fibre amplifier designed for large-scale FTTP and FTTx PON network deployments. Providing 32 individual 1550nm optical output ports, the KOA32P delivers 15.5dBm per port and a total optical output power of 34dBm.

The unit features a built-in low-noise pre-amplifier and operates across the 1540–1563nm optical amplification bandwidth. Each output port incorporates high-performance CWDM technology, enabling the 1550nm optical signal to be multiplexed with 1310/1490nm PON data over a single fibre. This reduces fibre resource requirements and supports efficient, high-density network deployment.

The KOA32P is compatible with EPON, GPON and other FTTx PON technologies. SNMP network management provides remote monitoring and management capabilities, while the dual power supply with 1+1 backup provides enhanced reliability for carrier-level applications.
